Bangalore: “One lakh Kovid tests were conducted on the same day on Tuesday and the number will be increased to 1.5 lakh soon,” Medical Education Minister Dr KK Gowri said Sudhakar said in a tweet.

The minister, who tweeted about the move, said Tuesday that he had reached his stated goal of carrying out 1,04, 348 Kovid tests in a single day.

A total of 55,690 RTPCR and 48,658 Rapid Antinez tests have been conducted in 146 labs nationwide. The amount will be increased to 1.5 lakh soon, the minister said.
