Bangalore: A complaint has been lodged against Kangana Ranaut, a Bollywood actress who tweeted derogatoryly at farmers at Kathsandra police station in Tumkur.

The PCJ and JMFC court in Tumkur recently directed the local police station to file a complaint against the actress.

An FIR has been filed against Amar Deepa Ranaut, father of Kangana Ranaut, a professional artist at A-4, Flat, Khar, Mumbai City, Maharashtra.

Karnataka High Court lawyer LK Advani accused Kangana of insulting farmers. Ramesh Nayak filed a private complaint on September 25.

The court, which inquired into the complaint, directed the police to file an FIR against the Bollywood actress and investigate. Similarly today IPC Section 108, 153, 504, 44 ft FIR has been registered.
