After a phone and scooter, Shiomi will now make an electric car

Shiomi, India’s number one and world’s leading phone company, is now set to enter the electric vehicle market after phone and scooter. According to a report by news agency Reuters, Shiomi will manufacture electric vehicles at the Great Wall Motor Factory in China. This information was revealed by three persons with knowledge of the case. Tell us that the demand for electric vehicles is increasing not only in the world but also in the Indian market these days.

As news spread, the share price began to rise
Soon after this Reuters report came out, Shiomi began to make profits in the stock market. Chinese technology company Shomei’s share price rose 6.71% in early trading on Friday. In addition, Hong Kong shares of Great Wall Motors are up more than 8% and Shanghai’s shares are up more than 7%.

The vehicles will be built in partnership with Great Wall
Shiomi is in talks to use the Great Wall plant in China, the report said. Great Wall has yet to produce any other company at its plant. However, it does provide engineering consulting to Shiomi after the partnership. The partnership is expected to be announced next week. Shiomi and Great Wall declined to comment on the matter.

When does the first electric car arrive
