On Sunday, militants attacked the Central Reserve Police Bill (CRPF) personnel in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir, injuring a constable.

According to preliminary information, the attack took place at Anchabal Chowk in Anantnag. The militants threw hand grenades at the CRPF personnel and opened fire on them. The injured constable has been admitted to hospital.

Earlier, there were clashes between militants and security personnel in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir. Two militants were killed in a confrontation with security forces in the Tiken area. Jammu and Kashmir police had informed about the case.
