Parliamentary, Coal and Mining Affairs Union Minister Prahlad Joshi said on Wednesday that he has been found infected with the corona virus and is in home quarantine. “I have been found infected with Kovid-19,” he tweeted. “I am in home quarantine as advised by the doctor,” he tweeted.
Joshi, a Member of Parliament from Dharwad Lok Sabha constituency, was instrumental in the conduct of the recent Parliament session in the midst of an epidemic as Minister of Parliamentary Affairs.

I was diagnosed with infection on the Kovid test. There are no symptoms. I am a Home Quarantine at the suggestion of a doctor.I have tested positive for #COVID19 . As I am asymptomatic, as per doctor’s advise I am in home quarantine.

Joshi is one of the important leaders of the state who has been identified with Kovid-19. Most of them have either been cured or are undergoing treatment. Chief Minister B.D. s. Yeddyurappa, Leader of the Opposition Siddaramaiah, many ministers of the state cabinet and several MLAs.
