PSSB Recruitment 2021: The Punjab Government has started the process of filling 2,280 vacancies in various departments through the Punjab Subordinate Selection Board (PSSSB). This information was provided by Chief Secretary Vini Mahajan here today. The board has in principle approved the recruitment drive and in this regard the ads will be released soon at sssb.punjab.gov.in

The PSSSB ensures fair and transparent recruitment drive and the Board performs videography, jammers and biometric techniques so that the entire recruitment process can be completed smoothly while ensuring merit-based selection as instructed by the Chief Minister.

“There will be 847 wardens and matrons in the jail department, 199 law clerks in various departments, 807 librarians in education departments, industries and commerce departments,” board chairman Raman Bahl said. 56 senior industrial development officers, 61 block level extension officers, 51 excise and tax prospects, 120 technical assistants in Punjab warehouse corporation, 112 supervisors in the social security department and 27 fisheries officers were filled.

He informed the board that the ads would be issued soon by the board seeking applications from eligible candidates.
