Sembaruthi 9 December 2020 Written Update: Durai Manikkam accuses Akhila of being drunk

In the previous issue Sembaruthi, Akhila presents the award to Durai Manikam and goes on to help the woman. As planned by Nandini, Suguna is wearing a burqa and attending an awards ceremony. She raises her cold drink to Akhila.

In the latest issue of Sembaruthi , Akhila slapped Durai Manikam. He alleged that Durai Manikam had behaved badly with female subordinates. When questioned by Akhila and the police commissioner, women constable Durai Manikkam denied the allegations.

Shocked, Akhila announces that a woman has been cheated by Durai Manikam to everyone who attended the ceremony. To prove her point, Akhila looks for the woman in the hall, but fails to find her.

She calls the security guard who witnessed the woman’s woes. Seeing other security guards, Akhila creates a scene. Durai Manikam declares that Akhila is drunk. Hearing this, Akhila Durai slapped Manikam and warned him to stay within his limits. Akhila and Durai get down to the Manikkam argument.

Akhila’s driver calls Arun and tells him about the events of the ceremony. Arun tells Purushan and Aishwarya about the same. The three decide to go to the hall. Vanja is delighted to hear the news.

In action, Durai Manikam is adamant that he should apologize to Akhila, but refuses to comply with Akhila’s demand. Durai Manikam says Akhila is drunk and the latter agrees to run an alcohol test. Tea doctor leaves after collecting Akhila’s blood sample. Akhila decides to stay behind as she learns about the results.

Arun rushes to help Akhila Durai Manikkam for accusing Akhila of being drunk. If the result is positive, Durai Manikam tells Akhila that he will arrest Akhila in front of his colleagues. As the doctor steps in, a senior official informs Akhila Traces of alcohol were found in her blood.

Purushothaman and Arun Akhila are dragged out of the hall when Durai Manikam announces that Akhila will be arrested in the next two days.
