In Madhya Pradesh, on Tuesday, 1570 new cases of infection with Corona virus were reported and with this the total number of people found infected with this virus till date reached 138668. The state has confirmed 25 more deaths from the disease in the last 24 hours, raising the death toll to 2488.
According to a health officer of Madhya Pradesh, during the last 24 hours, due to infection of corona virus in the state, Indore five, three each in Bhopal and Jabalpur, two each in Gwalior and Sehore, and Khargone, Sagar, Narsinghpur, Ratlam, Betul , Damoh, Satna, Chhindwara, Raisen and Alirajpur, one patient has been confirmed dead.
He said, Indore has the highest number of deaths with 602 deaths due to the corona virus so far, 410 in Bhopal, 95 in Ujjain, 111 in Sagar, 165 in Jabalpur and 138 in Gwalior. The remaining deaths occurred in other districts. The official said that on Tuesday, maximum 425 new patients of Kovid-19 have appeared in Indore district.
While 170 people were confirmed infected in Bhopal, 70 in Gwalior and 141 more in Jabalpur. He said that out of total 138668 infected people in the state till date, 118039 patients have gone home after getting healthy and 18141 patients are being treated in various hospitals. He said that on Tuesday, 2161 patients were discharged from hospital after recovering.
