According to a Washington Post report, a man named Philip Christodoulou had to check his Bitcoin balance, so he found an app called Treasure in the App Store. They saw an app with the same Treasure logo and the background color was the same as the original app. Philip unexpectedly downloaded the app and recorded his details. Before the app was found to be genuine or fake, they had lost their savings of 6 million (about Rs 4.3 crore).
