48-year-old Praveen Tambe created history, becoming the first Indian cricketer to play in CPL

Indian spinner Pravin Tambe made history as soon as he was part of the playing eleven of the Trinbago Knight Riders in the 13th match of the Caribbean Premier League at the Queens Park Oval Stadium against St. Lucia Jocks.

Praveen, 48, is making her copper debut. He has become the first Indian player to play in CPL.

Praveen has been part of the team of Rajasthan Royals, Gujarat Lions and Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL. He has taken 28 wickets in 33 matches played in the IPL. Tambe had also achieved a hat-trick in 2014 against Kolkata Knight Riders while playing for Rajasthan.

He was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2020 auction. But due to playing in other leagues outside India, he was declared as a commissioner to play in the IPL.
