The remaining candidates for the recruitment of 69000 assistant teachers in council elementary schools can receive appointment letters by the end of November. Following the Supreme Court ruling on Wednesday and the order of the chief minister, the basic education department machinery has been active.
The original education board will first seek permission from the Election Commission to issue appointment letters in reference to the Supreme Court order. The remaining vacancies will take three to four days after the recruitment process begins. The original Board of Education released a list of 67867 candidates on June 1.
The remaining 1133 posts remain vacant due to the unavailability of Scheduled Tribe candidates. The selection process of 31277 candidates from the 67867 list has been completed in the first phase. Thus, the remaining 36590 candidates have to be selected. Since district distribution is already in place and there is no harm.
Therefore, the remaining candidates for eligibility are required to submit the appointment letter through the District Counseling and Screening. It does not take more than four-five days to issue an appointment letter after getting approval from the Election Commission within three to four days. Prior to this, recruitment letters to 31277 list selectors were issued on October 16, and the process from counseling to school sharing was completed in just 26 days from October 26 to 30.
