Cyber cell refunded Rs 72986 which was blown from the account of two victims of online fraud.
Bhagauti Prasad, resident of Kesarai village of Gaur police station area, and Azizur Rahman, resident of Kesavnagar under Khodare district of Gonda district, had complained to SP Basti that they had become victims of online swindling. SP Hemraj Meena directed Sub-Inspector Vikas Yadav and his team in-charge of cyber cell to take action in the case. Due to the team’s efforts, the amount of money withdrawn from the account was fraudulently refunded to the bank account of Bhagauti Prasad and Azizur Rehman. Both expressed gratitude to the cyber cell.
