1- Dear Allowance (DA) and Dear Relief (DR) – According to the Seventh Finance Commission from July, the Union Minister of State for Finance announced in the Rajya Sabha that the dearness allowance and dear compensation will be available to the central employees. The National Council of JCM, which has raised the demand for central employees, said the cabinet minister had promised that the DA and DR would be restored by September.

3- Changes to travel allowance – The central government has provided relief to retired persons. Retired employees will now be able to submit their travel allowance details for 180 days. This time limit is 60 days. This new rule is effective from June 15.

4- Pension slips can be sent via Email, WhatsApp and SMS – The Modi government has freed pensioners from going to the banks for their pension slips. The central government’s personal department has instructed pensioning banks to send pensioners to their mobile numbers via SMS and email. You can also get a pension slip through WhatsApp. The central government has said that banks should use the registered mobile number of pensioners. This decision by the central government will provide relief to 62 lakh central pensioners. The new rule has come into effect from July 1.

Union Minister of State for Health Jitendra Singh announced changes in the rules for welfare of pensioners and pensioners.
