Apart from Uttar Pradesh, state employee allowances have increased in Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Rajasthan and Haryana. At the same time, the Bihar government will also announce it soon. It is believed the state employees will receive an allowance before August 15.

All states except Karnataka have increased their allowance by 11 per cent. Karnataka’s employee allowance has been revised from 11.25 per cent to 21.5 per cent.
