In July, the central government announced an 11 percent increase in the Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) of its employees and pensioners. Following this, the DA or DR of employees is now increased to 28 percent. In the center model, many states have also issued good news to their employees.

Which states have good news: The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has increased the allowance of its government employees. Following this decision, employees are now expected to receive the allowance at an increased rate of 28 per cent. Apart from Uttar Pradesh, state employee allowances have increased in Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Rajasthan and Haryana. At the same time, the Bihar government will also announce it soon. It is believed the state employees will receive an allowance before August 15.

All states except Karnataka have increased their allowance by 11 per cent. Karnataka’s employee allowance has been revised from 11.25 per cent to 21.5 per cent.
