Explaining that the Rajasthan, Jodhpur District and Sessions Court rejected the request of the state government in the case of black deer hunting, Salman Khan is said to have filed a false affidavit relating to the Arms Act. The state government’s application has also been dismissed by the lower court. Khan was acquitted by a lower court in June 2019 on the basis of a false affidavit. Thereafter, the state government appealed against the order in the District and Sessions Court.
