Japanese automaker Datsun announced today that it will increase the price of its vehicles by April. Maruti Suzuki, Nissan and Renault have already announced price hikes. With Datsun’s announcement, the country’s cheapest car will now be expensive.

In one of its variants, the company used a 0.8-liter capacity petrol engine that produces 54 PS of power and 72 Nm of torque. In the second variant, the company is given a 1.0-liter capacity engine that produces 69 PS of power and 91 Nm of torque. Generally, this car offers mileage ranging from 20 to 22 kilometers per liter. Its prices range from Rs 2.83 lakh to Rs 4.77 lakh.

What’s on offer: The company’s entry-level hatchback, Ready-GO, is discounted to a maximum of Rs 45,000. This includes a cash discount of Rs 15,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 and a cash bonus of Rs 15,000. This offer is valid until March 31, depending on the location and vendor of the country. Many times sellers even offer some extra discounts on their behalf.
