Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 has been good enough for Glenn Maxwell so far. Glenn Maxwell has hit five sixes in his first two matches, not hitting a six in last season. Maxwell, who played for Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) last season, is playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) this year. Maxwell is playing quite nicely under the leadership of Virat Kohli. He was named Man of the Match for his unbeaten 59 against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Maxwell describes how RCB has proven itself to be a very diverse franchise team. AB de Villiers said he was getting a chance to play for free.

Regarding how RCB differs from the rest of the franchise teams, Maxwell said, ‘Of the rest of the franchise team, I was expected to play big shots on the go, and I’m not very good at it. I’m waiting for my chance at bowling. Washington is a beautiful superstar for us. I don’t bowl much, I am able to contribute to the batting and I think I will be more happy.
