Now insurance companies are also preparing in this direction after the banks take the central government vaccination campaign.
The public sector bank Central Bank of India has taken this initiative to give the vaccine extra interest on their fixed deposits. At the same time some insurance companies are also making plans to offer premiums to customers.
According to data obtained by Hindustan, private sector insurance companies are also considering a similar offer so that people who are vaccinated can get a discount on the premium. However, the proposal is still in its early stages and, once it is prepared, it can be implemented only after IRDA approval of the regulator.
