However, the Select Board has blamed the NIC for this. One and a half crore rupees was paid two months in advance to provide a separate server for NIC, the board said. Despite that, the agency was unable to provide the server. The problem is because the application and the number of candidates on a common server are so high.
According to sources, NIC has admitted its mistake in the reply sent to the government and promised to improve it in the future. On April 8, the Select Board extended the online application date to ten days, but despite this, there were problems. On average, only about ten thousand applications are reported every day.
