ICSE ISC Exam 2021: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) has postponed the ICSE (10th) and ISC (12th) exams to address the worsening condition of coronavirus infection in the country. A final decision on the new dates will be taken in the first week of June, the Central Board of Education said. Theory exams for the ICSE and ISC classes are scheduled to begin on May 5, 2021, according to a previously scheduled exam schedule.
Prior to CISCE, the CBSE Board had canceled the 10th test and postponed the 12th examination. CBSE Board releases 10th result based on internal assessment. The decision on the 12th exams will be taken on 1 June.
In addition, Telangana Board, Haryana Board, Odisha Board, UP Board, Hattisgarh Board, Punjab Board, Rajasthan Board, Maharashtra Board, MP Board have also postponed their exams due to corona. Like the CBSE, the Haryana Board has decided to cancel the 10th examination and draw results based on internal assessment. Punjab has decided not to take 5th, 8th and 10th exams. Students in grades 5, 8 and 10 in Punjab will be promoted to next class without taking the exam.
