More than 41 lakh villagers in Mirzapur and Sonbhadra in Uttar Pradesh received the gift of the Yogi Sarkar Har Ghar Nal project. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday laid the groundwork for the project from Delhi. On this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was present at a function in Karaman village of Chatra block of Sonbhadra. The chief minister will also visit Mirzapur after the foundation’s program.
Addressing the villagers, CM Yogi Adityanath said, in 70 years, only 398 villages in the Vindhya region could control drinking water supply schemes. Today we have over 3000 villages in the region to pursue such projects.
