During the event, CM Yogi said that a new type of public transport is being launched in Agra as a metro. The historic city of Agra will get the metro. Agra has a population of 26 lakhs and millions of tourists come here every year to take advantage of tourism, he said. There was a problem with the environment here. The Supreme Court also responded that the metro would affect it.
The CM said that the metro works in Kanpur are in the throes of war, and now the construction work has begun in Kama, Prime Minister Agra. “Agra has done a good job in Agra in the past,” Minister of State for Urban Development Hardeep Puri said. He said that the UPA government spent only Rs 150 lakh crore on urban development projects from 2004 to 2014, but more than Rs 10 lakh crore was made during the Modi government from 2014-2020.
