Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani 21st December 2020 Written Update: Anokhi and Shaurya’s first visit

The serial begins with a girl named Anokhi catching a train running with dreams in her eyes. However it turns out to be her dream. Anokhi wakes up and tells her mother about the debate competition. Anokhi’s mother is afraid of her husband and asks Anokhi if he will return in time. Anokhi assures her and asks her not to be afraid of the father. Anokhi says that if she wins the competition, she will get admission in a top college. Her mother says she is sure but is skeptical of her father’s reaction but Anokhi assures her that she will arrive on time but her mother is still terrified.

Anokhi’s father, a station master, pulls the couple off the train. He scolds the girl for trying to run away and badmouths her. When they argue they are adults, the man is taken to the police. The girl’s father arrives and Anokhi’s father insults him for his custody. He blames social media for saying he has taken such a step and if it was his daughter in that spot he would not tolerate it. He gets out of the station and calls Lali to find the right alliance for Anokhi.
The Subarwals get introduced and Shaurya’s sister is recording everything for her engagement today.

Shaurya loves his Beda Papa and Badi Ma more than his father. He seems to have only had a cordial relationship with his father. His sister calls everyone for a family movie. Body Ma reprimands her Sos for not wearing her blouse properly. Anyway her daughter Shaurya’s sister notices that she is wearing the same thing but Body Ma says she can wear it as the daughter of the house and not the son-in-law. She asks her aunt Gayatri to keep track of her mother-in-law.

Anokhi is going to college on a bicycle. She spotted her father on the way and immediately turned it around to hit someone. Anokhi’s father comes home and treats Anokhi’s mother with arrogance. Anokhi’s mother panicked and listened to all his words. Lally gets there and he suggests she cover her head with teeth. She asks him why he is here but he doesn’t answer and goes to greet him. Lali greets him and shows him some alliances when Anokhi’s mother is upset.

While Anokhi is busy on his laptop bus, everyone else is playing songs. Astha asks Anokhi’s teacher to free her mind for a while. Everyone mocks Anokhi’s social deficiency but Astha supports him. They all reach the venue of the competition and Asta Anokhi supports her finding her tensions.

On the other hand, Anokhi’s father is not satisfied with any alliance and asks to find a well-settled groom who does not have to worry even after retirement. Lali asks about the dowry and Anokhi’s father says he will arrange it anyway.

They say one must curse to be the girl’s father and feel bad when Anokhi’s mother asks for it. Shagun, Shaurya’s fiance’s family and they are tense. When Shaurya receives a message of courage, she asks Shagun.

The competition begins and a man first speaks in a misogynistic manner which irritates the audience. Shaurya comes to Shagun and compliments her look. He asks if she wants to break the engagement but Shagun immediately denies it.

She reveals she has received a scholarship from Cambridge, which is why she is tense. Shaurya says that he is proud of her but he does not want her to accept it. Anokhi, on the other hand, says gender equality is still needed, and women still need permission from men to go to work or study.

People scoff at her booing but she shouts at Anokhi and they keep up enough. Shaun says his mother chose her career over her, which is why he never fit in with her. He asks her to choose between him and Cambridge.

Shagun makes a logical effort but he stands firm. Anokhi says that she has her own identity in front of someone’s daughter and wife and when that identity is recognized we can call it a gender equal society. Shaurun breaks his engagement with Shagun. Appreciation for Anokhi’s talk.
