A woman accused of raping a BJP MLA from Uttarakhand reached the shelter of the High Court

The victim accused of physical abuse on Dwarahat MLA from Uttarakhand has reached the High Court for her arrest and cancellation of FIR. The court has fixed September 1 as the next date after hearing the case. The single bench has asked to present the WhatsApp chat between the victim and the MLA in the court. The judge’s petition was heard on Saturday in a single bench of Justice Justice Ravindra Maithani.

The victim and her two other people have filed a petition demanding the cancellation of the FIR lodged against them on August 9 at the Nehru Colony police station in Dehradun and stay their arrest. The petitioners say that the Dehradun police did not register their complaint but came under pressure and filed a complaint against them on the complaint letter given by the wife of the MLA.

MLA Mahesh Negi’s wife Rita has said in the FIR that the victims and their families in Dwarahat live in their neighborhood and they used to come to their homes often with their problems like other people. As the woman was not doing well, they stopped her from coming to her house. The FIR also states that the woman ran away and got married and is staying in court with her husband.

The MLA’s wife has also alleged that the victim phoned her and said that she is the mother of Mahesh’s child and if the demand for her five crore rupees was not asked, Negi’s political career would ruin the family as well. . Here, the victim has demanded to register a case against her Tahrir and pass the DNA test order of the MLA .
