AB de Villiers and Dale Stein shocked by umpire decision

Temba Bawuma won the fifth T20 match between South Africa and the West Indies. South Africa also won the series with this win. However, there was much discussion on social media about the umpire’s surprise decision in the last T20 match. For South Africa’s former cricketers Dale Steyn and AB de Villiers, the umpire’s decision was shocking. Both players were opposed to its decision on Twitter.

In fact, the incident occurred during the South African innings when Obed McCoy bowled and Vian Mulder was on strike. McCoy’s ball fell out of the leg stump. Mulder even tried to hit McCoy’s bouncer, but he came inside the crease and thought the umpire would call it wide. However, Mulder was surprised when the umpire declared the ball perfect. Dale Steyn and AB de Villiers were also astonished by the umpire’s decision. Stan posted on his Twitter, ‘How on earth is it not that wide?’ De Villiers, who retweeted Stein’s tweet, said that ‘shocker’ fans also strongly opposed the decision on social media.

After the condemnation of his mother and wife, Dinesh Karthik apologized for his comments, Learn what the whole thing was

South Africa won the match by 25 runs thanks to Adam Markram’s 70 and Tabrez Shamsi’s financial bowling backing. Shamsi was named Player of the Series for his skimpy bowling in the entire T20I series. In the series, the Caribbean has a huge rivalry for South Africa and the result of the series may come out in the last game. South Africa had previously won the two-Test series 2–0.
