Accenture will lay off 25000 employees, Indians among those who lose jobs

Accenture, a global professional company, has over 5 lakh employees worldwide and is now about to cut the number of non-performing employees by at least 5 percent. Along with this, thousands of Indians will also have to lose jobs in the midst of economic recession.

A report published in the Australian Financial Review (AFR) first gave this information. It gave this information, citing an internal staff meeting held in mid-August by Julie Sweet, CEO of Accenture.
