ADG said on Hathras case a case was filed against those who tried to disturb communal harmony

In Hathras case, ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar held a press conference in Lucknow on Monday evening and said that a case has been registered in Chandpa police station of Hathras. Some chaotic elements tried to disturb communal harmony by broadcasting a viral audio. A case of instigating the victim’s family, giving them 50 lakh rupees and spoiling the peace of the state came to light.

Prashant Kumar said that a total of 13 FIRs have been registered in several districts, including Ayodhya, Lucknow, for spreading rumors on social media about the incident in Hathras.

Prashant Kumar said that all the accused have been arrested and sent to jail on the complaint of the victim family in Hathras, a CBI inquiry has also been recommended in the case.

Let me tell you that on September 14, a 19-year-old Dalit girl was allegedly raped in Chandpa area of ​​Hathras district. His tongue was also cut off due to strangulation during the incident. The girl was earlier admitted to Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Hospital in Aligarh. She was later rushed to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi where she died on Tuesday. The victim was cremated the night after her death. The family alleged that we were not allowed to see our baby girl at the last minute and the administration conducted the last rites at 2.30 pm under police guard. After this, the demonstrations started in place.

After this, the government handed over the investigation to the SIT. At three o’clock on Friday evening, the three-member SIT submitted its preliminary report in the case to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The UP government suspended the SP and four other policemen of Hathras for negligence in the initial investigation.
