He also holds the world record for fastest half-centuries in a debut. Krunal scored 58 not out off 31 balls. He hit seven fours and two sixes in his innings. He dedicated his innings to his father.

India won the toss and decided to bat first. India 317 for 5 in 50 overs. England chased down the target with 251 to chase. With this India won the match by 66 runs.
