After taking a coaching course at NCA, former all-rounder Irfan Pathan expressed his desire to become the coach of the teams

Former fast bowler Irfan Pathan recently took a coaching course from the National Cricket Academy (NCA) under the guidance of Rahul Dravid. Pathan gave this information on social media. He thanked NCA chief Rahul Dravid after taking a Level 2 coaching course from NCA Bangalore. Apart from Irrfan, his brother Yusuf Pathan has also taken a coaching course. After taking a coaching course, Irfan is now believed to be coaching teams. However, coaching is not a new thing for them because they have trained domestically before. He played for the J&K team as a coach-cum-player and has done a great job with the team.

After taking the coaching course, Irfan Pathan said in a conversation with Crick Tracker that he would definitely like to offer coaching to teams even if they were IPL teams. During the conversation, when Irfan was asked about any IPL franchise coach in the future, he said, “Yes, I would love to move on and hope that it will.”

The course was a four-day online course and a four-day online course at NCAA Bangalore. Asked what is the main thing you learned in this 8-day course, Pathan said, “When you have experience playing 175 international matches, you have me on this course.” So you really have to go and learn the details of everything and I think the NCA is doing a great job in this regard. Why did I want to do this course, anyway I have been in coaching for the last three years but I want to improve my coaching.

After completing the course, Pathan commended NCA chief Rahul Dravid and thanked him for that. He said, “The best thing about Indian cricket is that Rahul Dravid is associated with the NCA. They share their knowledge and that’s a great thing for them, that’s why you respect him so much.
