After the serum, AstraZeneca also said – Corona vaccination will start in India in early 2021

In India, preparations for the corona vaccine are in the final stages of rescue from corona. Many pharma companies have applied for permission to use the vaccine. But, so far, no one has endorsed it. Meanwhile, Serum and Oxford-AstraZeneca have promised to vaccinate Indians early next year.

After the serum, the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine may be available in the country early next year. AstraZeneca’s India chief Gagandeep Singh gave this information on Saturday. At the FICCI’s 93rd Annual Conference, he said that in the current epidemic, vaccines need to be made available on a wide scale and on time.

Gagandeep Singh said, “We started working with Oxford University in April and we are currently looking at the immediate use of this vaccine and that means the vaccine will be available in the first half of 2021.”

Earlier, Adar Poonawala, CEO of the Serum Institute of India (SII), said that by the end of this month, emergency use of the corona vaccine would be allowed in the country. The vaccination campaign can be launched from January in India. Adar Poonawala said at the Global Trade Summit that the LIC is expected to be licensed for emergency use by the end of this month, but will be approved later. He hopes the vaccination campaign against Corona will start in India from January 2021, as soon as the regulatory approval is obtained. SAI is developing the corona vaccine in collaboration with Oxford University.

Poonawala said their company is preparing the corona vaccine dose for the government and the private market. The central government wants to buy a vaccine of 30 to 40 crore by July next year. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare plans to give 20 to 30 percent of the country’s healthcare to people who have a coronary artery vaccine. By October next year, he expressed the possibility of vaccinating the country’s population. Only then will life be normal.
