Ajay Seth has held the post of Secretary of Economic Affairs

Ajay Seth took over as Secretary of Economic Affairs on Friday. The 1987 batch of Karnataka cadre officer, Seth of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), took the pivotal moment when the second wave of Kovid-19 saw a crisis cloud over the resurgence of the economy.

Seth to replace Tarun Bajaj. Bajaj has been made Revenue Secretary in the Ministry of Finance. The Finance Ministry tweeted that Ajay Seth has taken over as Secretary of the Economic Affairs Department of the Ministry of Finance.
