On the last day of his two-day tour of West Bengal, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday said the rules of the revised citizenship law need not be limited. He said the government would consider it further once the corona virus vaccine was created. Shah, speaking at a press conference after organizing a road show in Bengal, responded openly on several issues, including the next chief minister of Bengal, the CAA.
Responding to a question on the Amended Citizenship Act (CAA), Amit Shah said, “CAA has yet to bring in rules.” This was not the case due to the corona virus epidemic. The government will consider the vaccine as soon as it arrives.
Amit Shah told a press conference that if the BJP wins the state, the party will declare him its chief minister. Shah said the BJP would form the next Bengal Chief Minister from this state. Shah said the decision will be taken at a parliamentary board meeting, whether or not the party is fielding a chief ministerial candidate before the election.

He said, “Political violence is at its peak in Bengal. The killing of more than 300 BJP workers is not an inch of progress in the probe into the assassination of BJP activists.

BJP’s victory in Bengal elections decided: Shah
At the same time, Amit Shah, who was thrilled by the crowds at Sunday’s road show, said he had never seen such a large crowd in his political career so far, an indication that the people of West Bengal were fully prepared for change. The road from Duck Bungalow to Chowrasta, covering a one kilometer road show, took so long that thousands of people joined the road and stopped the open-hooded truck the Shah was carrying.
