Asus has launched its new series of ROG Phone 5s. Under this series, the company has introduced two smartphones – the ROG Phone 5s and the 5s Pro. Both smartphones are ultra-premium gaming devices and come with powerful features such as 18GB RAM, Snapdragon 888+ processor and 144Hz refresh rate.
The company has not yet revealed the price of the phone, but both devices are listed on the company’s website. As for the price, both these smartphones are believed to be around Rs.
Display with 144Hz refresh rate on the phone
Both smartphones have a 6.78-inch full HD + AMOLED display with 1080×2448 pixel resolution. The display’s refresh rate is 144Hz and it comes with thicker bottom and top bezels. The specialty of the 5S Pro is that the company offers additional touch sensors along with the ROG Vision Matrix display on its back panel. The phone features stereo speakers and Air Trigger 5 ultrasonic gaming buttons on the phone for a stronger sound and gaming experience.

18GB RAM and Snapdragon 888+ processor
Both of Asus’ latest gaming smartphones come with 18GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. As a processor, the company is offering the powerful Snapdragon 888+ chipset among them. For photography, the device has a triple rear camera setup with LED flash. It has a 13-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens with a 64-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. The company is offering a 24-megapixel front camera on the phone for selfies.

To power the phone, it is powered by a 6000mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging. Featuring an in-display fingerprint sensor, this phone runs on Android 11 based ROG UI. For connectivity, the company is offering Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, 5G, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port on this phone.
