Indian Boxing Federation (BFI) Executive Director RK Sacheti died on Tuesday after battling Kovid-19. He was 56 years old. The skilled sports manager was on a ventilator for some time in a hospital in Delhi.
Olympic Association of India (IOA) also condoled the death of Saheti.

The AFI family is truly saddened by the news that Mr. died. R. K. Sacheti, Asso. V.P. Because of AFI, Kovid. I’ve known them for 30 years. He was part of many of India’s major sporting events and allowed many young people to work in the sports industry. @Adille1

In a statement, IOA General Secretary Rajiv Mehta said, “I am very saddened by the news of the death of IOA Joint Secretary, BFI Executive Director and close friend Rajkumar Sacheti.” The Athletics Federation of India has condoled the death of the sports manager.
