Bank Holiday August 2021: According to the Reserve Bank of India, there are 15 days of bank employee holidays in August, including festivals and weekly holidays. Half of August has passed but there are many big festivals coming up in these two weeks. Because of this, there will be 9 days of bank employee leave. These holidays include weekly holidays.
According to the Reserve Bank of India, there will be a holiday for bank employees due to the Muharram festival on August 19. The banks in Thiruvananthapuram will be closed on August 23 following the birth anniversary of Srinarayana Guru. Krishna Janmashtami will also be a holiday at the end of this month. August 20 – Banks will be closed in Bangalore, Chennai, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram due to Moharam and Onam festivals.
August 21 – Banks in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram will be closed due to Thiruvonam.
There will be a week-long holiday – August 22 – Sunday.
August 23 – Shri Narayana Guru Jayanti – Banks will be closed in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram.
August 28 – On the fourth Saturday of the month, this day the bank employees will have a holiday.
29 August – Sunday – Weekly Vacation
August 30 – Banks closed in Ahmedabad, Chennai, Dehradun, Gangtok, Guwahati, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Lucknow, Panaji, Patna, Raipur, Shillong and Shimla due to Janmashtami and Krishna Jayanti.
August 31: Banks will not open in Hyderabad today due to Krishna.
