Episode Principal begins by asking a second question. The boys struggle to find the answer. Anirudh looks impatiently towards Bondita, pulling the string attached to the bell he plays. Everyone is surprised to see it but when they turn to look, everyone is looking at it. Saudamini says he should have pulled the sleeping thread and asked the principal to go to the next question.
Anirudh shouts at the girls who wake up and ask for an answer as they never get a chance. Principals start countdown. Anirudh tries to understand the importance of competition for girls. Bondita wakes up and gives the correct answer. Everyone will be surprised. Spouting soudamini water. Anirudh and others clap.
All the girls wake up. Saudamani apologizes to Greenwood for not knowing how she woke up. Anirudh goes to her and gives her water to open her eyes and see that all the girls are awake. He giggles at her and then takes his seat back.
Principals continue with questions asking what is the smallest bone in our body. The boys begin to feel sleepy. Ramaiah gives the right question and the girls team gets another point.
As the boys fall asleep, Saudamini tries to stop the competition and accuses Anirudh of doing something. Anirudh says that the boys must understand that they cannot win and that they are acting like a shameful sleep. The boys drank the whole book, so Saudamini says they have no reason to pretend to be asleep.
Anirudh says he had to study each page one by one. Saudamini alleged that Anirudh had mixed something with the boys’ diet. Greenwood says he will be punished for it. Anirudh says that she did not go near the boys as Betty did not go near the girls. Acknowledging the importance of Hindustani time, he asks principals to keep up with the competition. Bondita agrees. Anirudh leaves for a moment.
The competition continues and the girls keep giving the right answers while the boys are asleep. Anirudh comes up with the Mahabharata book and when he asks her, she says that she should read it: if she did it she would understand how she ended up in a sleeping powder boys book mixed with girls’ food. He says that he has followed what Krishna taught.
Saudamini says this cannot be done. Anirudh says the British cannot play smart alone. In a flashback, Anirudh and Bondita Soudamini are seen giving powder to Elaichi. Bondita showed Anirudh as the saudamani who was found in the case of Elaichi. Bondita then changed the board, which was written as “boys” to “girls”, so Elaichi mixed the medicine powder with boys’ powder.
Anirudh goes to sit back. The girls are in front. Anirudh says girls are always ahead in the future. Soudamini’s efforts to wake the boys with sprinkles of water on his face were in vain. Anirudh recalls himself saying that if anyone goes close to the team, the latter will be eliminated. Saudamini must sit back.
Bondita tells Elaichi that she pretended to be asleep because she found out she was helping Saudami. Elaichi is embarrassed.
The boys wake up and begin to answer. After a while, the boys have 9 points and the girls have 8 points. The principals warn the girls that if the boys answer the next, they will automatically win. Saudamini says the boys will win, and asks Greenwood if the win celebration is ready. He says there will be a grand celebration.
Trilochan comes back and tells Aniruddha that the car is waiting for him and he should leave the country. Anirudh asks him to look at the scoreboard. Trilochan is delighted to see it. Anirudh encourages the girls to remember how hard they worked and their goal.
Bondita remembers asking Aniruddha what she should do if she was afraid. Anirudh had asked her to remember her goal bigger than her fears and remember that girls will get equal rights and respect if they win the challenge. He explained to her that she was the guide of her group and that she should show direction to her friends. The girls hold each other’s hands. Anirudh smiles at him. Anirudh has shown him the moon but he has to jump high to touch it, says Bondita. He asks if the girls are ready to jump. They all nodded.
