Barrister Babu 28th December 2020 Written Update: Anirudh waking up after hearing the Bhajan sound. He thinks that Sampoor’s teachers must have come but when he goes out, Shubra sees him doing the pooja dressed as his mother. They are shocked. Bondita gets there and the rest of the family. Anirudh asks how this girl got into the house. Bondita swears she does not know and is surprised to see her there. Trilochan reveals that he brought her there.
Anirudh says she is a fraud and a liar but Trilochan says she is not a liar and she knows there are two doors in her kitchen. Knowing that, Anirudh asks if he will become a mother. Before he brought her there, he asked her many questions and she gave all the right answers, Trilochan says she knew how Shubra died. He also shows the protective string that Anirudh’s mother had brought from the Kali Ma temple.
Anirudh still does not believe it because it is not right. Trilochan says he didn’t get it right when he brought in a widow at home and allowed him to move around without even completing all the rituals but he didn’t stop him and now he brought this girl into the house because he believes Shubra. Bondita tries to say something about the girl but Trilochan asks Shubra to speak with respect because she is her aunt. Anirudh forbids her to call her by her mother’s name. Bondita nodded. Trilochan asks what’s wrong. Even Bondita nods at him.
Trilochan advises Anirudh to ask any question to the girl. Anirudh whispers something in Bondita’s ear. Bondita asks Trilochan to give him the safe keys but he denies that he and anyone other than Shubra can open the safe. Anirudh only knows his mother, which is the safe key. Bondita says the test requires the girl to find the right key and open the safe. Munshi feels she has not told the girl about the keys and wonders what she is doing.
Bondita gives all the keys to the girl walking into the room. She remembers wondering what the girl was doing and asking him not to worry despite being checked at Munshi’s house many times, because he lectures her but she must understand those gestures and avoid any mistake. The girl looks around.
Munshi walks into the closet behind Aniruddha and falls. It will fall on Anirudh but the girl shouts “Gopal” and pushes him away. The closet falls to her leg. Anirudh says that even though she did not get a single scratch to escape the exam, she was sure that she was not her mother from now on that she was sick. The girl walks safely with the key but does not open it. Anirudh says he has already said that there is nothing like a second birth. However, the girl is able to open a shocking safe for everyone. Trilochan is delighted.
Munshi remembers thinking that all these years he had shadowed Roy Chaudhry, so he knows everything. When everyone handed him the closet, he put a sign with ink on the key to get it.
Trilochan is now sure that the girl is Shubra, and declares that she will remain in the mansion until the fast has not been completed, for there is no danger of hanging on to Aniruddha’s life as the fast is not complete. Anirudh walks away angrily.
The girl closes the safe and she must finish her work, not fast. Bondita feels that she still cannot trust the girl so she has to do her job to bring out her truth in front of everyone.
