– Doubt for Australia Tour
Abu Dhabi: Sunrisers Hyderabad batsman Bhuvneshwar Kumar is out of the IPL tour after being bowled by just 1 ball in the 19th over against Chennai Super Kings.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar is out of the IPL due to a muscle spasm. They have a grade 2 or grade 3 injury. The effect is that they need to stay off the field for at least 6 to 8 weeks. A BCCI spokesman has told the media that this may take him away from touring India and Australia.
Bhuvneshwar, who was the most wicket-taker in the 2016 and 2017 IPL tours, will be a huge backdrop for the David Warner-led Hyderabad team as they have been out of action due to injury. Siddharth Kaul, who had put Bhuvi in the side in the last match, cost Mumbai by 64 runs in 4 overs.
