Bhuvneshwar Kumar was not included in the final squad for the World Test Championship.

BCCI announces Team India for World Test Championship final and England tour The selectors have shown confidence in the players who have performed well against Australia and England and there is no new face in the team. Hardik Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Prithvi Shah are not included in the squad. Fans are not happy with Swing bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s absence in the WTC Final England and he has responded on Twitter.

Bhubaneswar Kumar is known for swing bowling and in England a new ball gives him plenty of swing. This has caused fans to be very sad to see Bhuvi not in the team. Apart from Bhubaneswar, Prithvi Shah, who won the hearts of everyone by his batting in IPL 2021, has also been ignored. Hardik Pandya has not appeared in the IPL while bowling for Mumbai Indians and that is why he is not included in the Test squad. Washington Sundar and Shardul Thakur have been successful in securing a place in the team.

Ravindra Jadeja and fast bowler Mohammed Shami have returned to the squad, along with Hanuma Vihari, who was out in the home Test series against England. Jadeja and Mohammad Shami were not part of the squad in their home series against England after being injured on the tour of Australia. Jadeja’s performance for the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL was spectacular and he got a lot of praise as Harshal Patel scored 37 in an over. The final of the World Test Championship will be held from June 18 to 22. Following this, India will play a five-match Test series against England, the first of which will be played in Nottingham from 4 August.
