Mahindra & Mahindra is set to launch its new Mahindra XUV 700 in the domestic market. Recently, the company released a teaser of this three-line (three-row) 7-seat SUV, which features some of the highlights of this SUV. Now, according to the latest report, the company can present it to the world on August 15 and officially release it for sale on October 2nd.
Remember, the company launched its famous off-roading SUV Mahindra Thar on October 2 last year (Shastri and Gandhi Jayanti). However, the company has not officially shared any information on the matter. The SUV is said to be the most powerful in its segment.
The Mahindra XUV 700 will be launched in the market with petrol and diesel engine options. In its petrol variants, the 2.0-liter stallion can make a turbocharged engine with four-cylinder capacity. It is capable of producing 200 hp of power. In this sense, this SUV is 159 hp in its segment, more than the 143 hp of the Hyundai Alcazar and the MG Hector Plus.
On the other hand, the diesel variant will be powered by a 2.2-liter Amhak 4-cylinder diesel engine that produces 185 hp. Even in this segment, the XUV 700 engine proves superior. The company can supply its diesel engine with a 6-speed manual and torque converter automatic transmission gearbox.

The SUV will get a redesigned front grille, new LED daytime running lights with sharp headlamps, modified bumpers and tail lamps, and flush-like door handles.
