Bigg Boss 14 contestant Naina Singh says she won’t be comfortable flirting with Salman Khan: ‘I have not seen him like that’ – tv

Television star Naina Singh, one of the big contestants of Bigg Boss 14, entered the show with a bang. Within minutes, Splitsvilla 10 winners were eyeballs with a fight with fellow Wild Card contender, actor Shardul Pandit.

Before Bigg Boss entered the house, Naina spoke to Indian News Live about why she couldn’t flirt with her favorite Bigg Boss contestant and host Salman Khan. Excerpt:

Q. You’ve been part of reality shows before, but Bigg Boss is a completely different ballgame. What is your strategy?

Ex. Truth be told, I really have no strategy because it doesn’t matter what you think. It bothers you, because ‘I thought this but it didn’t happen.’ Subconsciously, you get very annoyed by it. I’m thinking I’m going to amuse my audience. I’m going to have fun and make them laugh. That’s my strategy because I think there are a lot of matches from the first day and they need to be entertained.

Q. Who do you see as your biggest competitor so far?

Ex. To be true, it is too soon to say anything. So far, they have been highlighted as the seniors are having more talks. I think I can answer this when I’m in the house. Personally, I don’t know anyone. No matter what I look at, the Big Boss 14’s competitors don’t seem to matter.

Q. How to play a negative role in Kumkum fortune hurt you mentally and you cry when you see yourself on TV. How do you deal with the hostility and negativity in the show?

Ex. One thing’s for sure, I’ll be on Bigg Boss myself. There is no script I pretend to be or no one. Everyone knows themselves – how bad and dirty they can get. I know I won’t be dirty for sure. I don’t mean in terms of looks but it’s ugly from the inside. So, it doesn’t affect me. Like the rest, it’s Bigg Boss and let’s see that everyone has different personalities. Maybe someone will try to excite me and I will come back. But giving back does not leave my dignity.

Q. Your Splitsvilla 10 fellow contestant Priyank Sharma also participated in the event. Did you call them for advice on how to live on the show?

Ex. No, y’all, I’ve already done two reality shows. We had to stay in one house for four months in India’s Next Superstars. I have lived in a boarding school all my life. For me, it is a habit to be somewhere with unknown people. Everyone has a different perspective, I don’t want to take someone else’s perspective and go home.

Q. Who is your favorite Bigg Boss contestant?

A. Siddharth Shukla, from last year. I think he won half of the game because he thought he was the winner of all the other competitors. He had an aura. He never once said I would win, but everybody enjoyed it. He is very spontaneous and agile with his answers. If you want to argue with them, you need to know your facts properly. You can’t argue with him for any reason, because he has the answer for everything.

Q. Bigg Boss contestants have a personal life in general, and controversies on national television are on the rise. Does that matter to you?

Ex. To be quite honest, I have never had any controversies. I think it’s the safest job I’ve ever done in my life (laughs). I think I’ve been preparing for Bigg Boss for years now. I’m not a controversial actor, so I don’t think there’s anything to come out of that bothers me later.

Q. In the past, we’ve seen competitors sometimes find love in the show. Are you open to that too?

Ex. If you look at my history, I am not in the news of dating anyone. To me, love is very personal and it is not something that comes easily. I can’t be with anyone for a week or two or a month, and I love that person. I believe there must be friendship and understanding, and then love happens. So if someone says you fall in love in two days or at first sight, it’s all garbage. I was the only love affair with Bigg Boss. I flirt with him.

Q. Do you want to develop a relationship with Salman Khan like some other competitors?

A. Salman sir is the person I look up to and admire. For my part, I’m not comfortable with flirting with him because I’ve never seen him like that. Girls who come and say, ‘Aap ke liye (for you) …’ and all that, I don’t think I’ll be able to do that. Salman sir is no different. It’s not a place where I flirt with him or talk with him in love-dove.

Q. What aspect of your personality do you think the audience sees?

Ex. If you follow me on Instagram, if you see my pictures and videos, I will be very fun-loving and entertaining. People consider me very upfront, blunt and arrogant but no one has ever seen the natural and funny side of me. I like to joke around. I am more in the fun zone than hassle or quarrel. I am a person who entertains if I don’t get anyone.
