She was bombarded with questions about her marriage when Rakhi revealed that she was married to Ritesh urgently and had never met or talked to him before getting married. During the serial, Rakhi said, “People go shopping urgently, they are separated on an urgent basis and I was in an urgent need to get married. There is a famous and influential person in India. I did not file a police complaint about it, I did not see Ritesh, I did not speak to him, I saw his bank balance and he said yes.
Rakhi’s mother, who supported her daughter and confirmed that her marriage was legitimate, told ETIMS TV: “Rakhi’s husband Ritesh is taking care of me and all the medical bills and everything. He’s working for us. He assured me that he would come and receive Rakhi as his wife. We have often seen Rakhi cry for Ritesh on a reality show. She once tells her fellow contestants how she begs her NRI husband to reveal her identity. She said she thinks people are faking it and appearing and asking her husband to prove her wrong. He added that Ritesh was too shy and worried about revealing his identity and had asked Rakhi for a while. Rakhi said she would reveal herself after getting pregnant with her baby.
