Patna: The Bihar assembly elections are on the rise and the JD-led chief minister Nitish Kumar has released its list of candidates. The JDU has issued a ticket to RJD leader Laloo Prasad Yadav’s relative Chandrika Roy, saying all 115 candidates have been named at one time.

Chandrika Roy will contest from Parsa, while Chirangi Paswan’s cousin Lalan Paswan will head to the arena with Chinar and Bhima Bharti from Rupauli. The next day, the JDU announced the candidates for the NDA seat allocation.
