BJP state spokesman claims Trivendra Singh Rawat will remain chief minister of Uttarakhand

The political storm in Uttarakhand has stopped for the past two days. BJP state spokesperson and MLA Munna Singh Chauhan said late Monday night in New Delhi that Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat will continue as chief minister of Uttarakhand. He said he would finish the term as chief minister.

When asked if the High Command is thinking of removing Chief Minister Trivendra, rumors are spreading about Chauhan, which is completely wrong. Chauhan said there was no chaos among senior leaders of the party, including the Uttarakhand BJP MP and MLA. All the party leaders are working together to strengthen the double engine government. None of the BJP MLAs are dissatisfied and all MLAs stand with the government.

Speaking at a parliamentary board meeting, BJP state spokesperson Chauhan said it was the decision of the parliamentary council and the party’s high command that he should sit or remove the chief minister. CM Trivendra Singh Rawat’s chair is no threat at present. Chauhan said the party had not called a meeting of the BJP assembly on Tuesday. The CM will be resting for the night in New Delhi and will be heading to the capital Dehradun on Tuesday morning from 10-11 am. Chauhan said that CM Trivendra Singh Rawat’s visit to New Delhi was on the orders of the party’s High Command and he should not be removed from the post. As the Thiruvananthapuram government is completing its four-year term on March 18, round-the-clock meetings have continued.

CM Trivendra Singh Rawat was not invited to the meeting of BJP national president JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday night. Former BJP chief minister Raman Singh presented the committee’s report to Nadda and Shah at the BJP’s key committee meeting on Saturday. The fate of Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat was to be decided on the basis of the report.

If sources are to be believed, the current chair for Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat remains. After the meeting, CM reached Trivendra MP Anil Baluni’s house. The meeting, which lasted for about an hour and a half, included discussions on political movements in Uttarakhand. After this, Chief Minister Trivendra had gone to the home of BJP national president JP Nadda. There was a long discussion between the two leaders.

BJP state president Bansidhar Bhagat issued a statement on Monday afternoon Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat will contest the upcoming 2022 assembly elections. Bhagat said that there was no chance for a change of leadership in the state. Asked about the question many BJP MLAs are camping in Delhi, Bhagat said As the ministers and legislators visit Delhi, the Center’s development plans can be implemented in the respective areas. The Trivandra government’s four-year term also ends on March 18, so a meeting with MPs and legislators is being held, he said. At the same time, amid political drama in the state’s Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday, the debate on cabinet expansion was intensified to intensify dissatisfied MLAs.
