Black Panther 2 to begin filming almost year after Chadwick Boseman demise

Months after the demise of Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman, Marvel Studios is set to begin filming the sequel to the superhero movie in July 2021.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Boseman’s sudden demise has been sidelined, with filmmaker Ryan Coogler and Marvel going through a period of grief.

In March 2021, the studios planned to begin construction of an advanced part of it. 2020 is the only year that no Marvel movie has been released for the first time since 2009.

Several sources from The Hollywood Reporter have revealed that Marvel is now preparing for Black Panther 2, whose filming will start in Atlanta in July and continue for six months.

While Marvel has not shared any details on who will play the central character portrayed by Boseman, Mexican actor Tenoch Huerta is in talks to play one of his rivals.
