BMW Launches New Powerful R18 Classic Bike in India, Competes SUV in Power

BMW Motorrad India today announced the launch of its new powerful bike, the R18 Classic First Edition. The company is bringing this bike to India through the Complete Built Unit (CBU) route. Built with a very attractive appearance and strong engine capacity, the bike is priced at Rs 24 lakh. (Ex-showroom) is allotted. GST is included in its price.

What does the new bike look like: The BMW R18 Classic is adorned with attractive looks and advanced features. It has a large windscreen, passenger seat, saddle bag, LED extra headlights, a 16-inch front wheel and a large engine. The bike uses a 1,802cc capacity engine that produces 91bhp and 158Nm of torque.

More powerful than the SUV: In general, this high power delivers compact SUVs in the Indian market. In the recently launched Nissan Magnite, the company uses a 1.0-liter capacity engine that produces just 72 PS of power and 96 Nm of torque.
There are some other SUVs with almost identical power output.

The bike also offers anti-hopping clutch, rear wheel hoop, 6-speed transmission gearbox and reverse gear. The bike also offers three different driving modes, including rain, roll and rock. As a safety feature, features like automatic stability control, dynamic engine brake control, Hill Start system, keyless ignition, and electronic cruise control are standard on this bike.

Warranty: The company is also offering a total 3-year and unlimited kilometers warranty with the new BMW R18 Classic. Furthermore, this bike comes on the market with a 24×7 365 day roadside assistance package. The bike is designed in a double cradle frame with a tiered drop style fuel tank.
