Wesley Madhavere (56) and captain Brandon Taylor scored 46 runs. Taylor, who was in good rhythm during his innings, lost wickets in a strange fashion. After playing the shot, Taylor pulled the bat back and hit the bat on the stump. This unique video of a Zimbabwean hero coming out is becoming quite viral on social media.

In fact, the incident occurred during the 25th innings of Zimbabwe when Brandon Taylor missed the cut of Bangladesh fast bowler Shuriful Islam. After the ball went off, Taylor pulled the bat back and hit the bat on the stump while practicing the shot. Following the request of Bangladeshi players, the on-field umpire sent the decision to the third umpire who declared Taylor a hit wicket. This is not the first time a batsman has been dismissed in cricket, as Australia’s greatest batsman, Mark Waugh, lost his wicket in a Test against South Africa in 1998.
