Farmers have been protesting for over two months against the Center’s three agrarian laws on the Delhi border. After the tractor parade on last Republic Day, now organizations have announced a nationwide chakka jam to give the farmer the edge. This drive of farmers is supported by many parties, including the Congress.
But, Chakka Jam is not affected in the capital Delhi. Farmers have said that there will be no traffic jams in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand today. Farmers peacefully disrupt national and state highways in other parts of the country for three hours.
