The government also has a tool called PIB Fact Check, which helps users identify whether photos, documents and letters received by them are fake or not. So today we are going to tell you the steps to register a Fact Check Request with PIB Fact Check so that you can find out if the information you received is correct or not.

How to use PIB Fact Check
1. To open the PIB Fact Check portal, enter https://factcheck.pib.gov.in/ in the search. After this, a page is opened.

2. Now, select the language, enter the email address and captcha. Then press the Submit button.

3. Enter the received OTP in your email address and press Submit.

4. Here the user has to fill out the form: In this form, name, email id, news class. After this, you will need to enter the details of the news you need to verify the information. You must link the facts you need to know. You can also upload videos and audio clips here.

5. When finished, enter the captcha for verification and press the Submit Request button.

PIB will then analyze facts related to the information and send you feedback via the provided email address.
