Check your mobile number and e-mail on Aadhaar card or not

Aadhaar card is an essential document for every citizen of India. You need Aadhaar for everything from government to private. It is also important to keep all your information in Aadhaar, as you will not have enough Aadhaar. Due to misinformation, many of your work can be stopped. In order to take advantage of all the facilities associated with Aadhaar, it is important to have your mobile number and email id in Aadhaar. If the mobile number is not registered in Aadhaar or it is incorrect, you may face many problems. To reduce this tension, UIDAI has launched a new service that lets you check whether your phone number and email id in Aadhaar is correct or not. So let us tell you how to check your mobile number and mail id:

Process to verify mobile number and mail id
>> First click for this http://resident.uidai.gov.in/verify-email-mobile.

This will then open the page for “Check your email / mobile number in Aadhaar”.

You must first enter the “12 digit Aadhaar number” to check the details.

After this “Contact Details” will be asked. Here you have to enter your mobile number and e-mail ID.

After filling out “captcha” you should click on “Send OTP”. If you receive an OTP, your mobile number is correct and if not, you will have to go to Aadhaar Registration Center to correct or change it.

The mobile number is wrong in Aadhaar, so replace it with the new number
>> First you need to go to Aadhaar Enrollment / Renewal Center.
After that, the Aadhaar card correction form has to be filled.
Enter the mobile number you want to update on this form. Then submit the form.
You will then need to provide your biometrics for opticization.
This is followed by a receipt from the executive.
On this receipt you get the Request Number (URN).
You can check your update status using urn.
Please tell us that after updating your mobile number in Aadhaar, you do not need to take a new Aadhaar card.
When you register your new mobile number in Aadhaar, you will start receiving OTP in the changed Aadhaar mobile number.
